DIGITAL BRAND PROTOCOL + GUIDELINES 2019

CHALLENGE / MISSION

Gerber Gear, renowned maker of knives and tools made a large shift to primarily utilizing digital mediums in 2018 to message their brand. In doing so the design and marketing dept. in house need a protocol and brand guidelines to keep the internal team production on track and consistent and a way to hold partner designer accountable to proper brand messaging.  

SOLUTION

Built brand Guidelines which instruct and dictate the unique, overarching, cohesive look and feel of the brand in the digital space. Guidelines are to act as a tool to facilitate the creation of cohesive on-brand digital assets for members of the in-house team and off-site partner entities. Along with providing the standard brand guideline tools of digital color palette, typography, logo and graphic elements, symbols, word marks and brand tone; additional grids and working digital templates were built to facilitate consistent and efficient creation of uniquely Gerber digital marketing assets.
