CHALLENGE / MISSION

VFA-97 the Warhawks, were placed in charge of cruise morale for CVW 9, set to embark on USS John C. Stennis CVN-74, affectionately known as the “The Steel Stennis.” Thier CO reached out in need of a shit-hot system of graphics and gear to keep the team morale high when drinking jet-fuel infused fluids on the legendary floating prison.

SOLUTION

Co-developed with input from the squadron, The Steel Stennis World Tour artwork and morale was created to supplement a “Tail Hook” esque ball leading up to cruise. Drawing inspiration from the squadron's favorite mood music, a glam, grunge and hair metal morale system was born.
